Zoila Govea Alejo

Zoila Govea Alejo, amada esposa y madre, nos dejó el 29 de agosto de 2024 en el Centro Médico Granville en Oxford, Carolina del Norte. Hija de Felipe Govea Diego y Esperanza Alejo Ventura, Zoila fue un faro de amor y bondad para todos los que la conocieron.

A Zoila le sobreviven su devoto esposo, Manuel Martínez De la Cruz, y sus queridas hijas, Karen Itzel, Mayte, Alondra y Valeria Martínez Govea. Fue una hija y hermana muy querida, que dejó atrás a sus hermanos, Celestina, Elvia, Sandra, Noel, Armando y Hayde Govea, quienes siempre tendrán su memoria cerca de sus corazones.

Orgullosa exalumna de la Escuela Primaria Adolfo López Mateo y de la Secundaria Técnica 127 De La Cantera, Zoila llevó su educación y valores a lo largo de su vida. Después de mudarse a los Estados Unidos, dedicó casi dos décadas de su vida a trabajar en McDonald's, donde formó amistades duraderas y tocó muchas vidas con su calidez.

La fe de Zoila fue una luz que guió su vida. Fue miembro activo de la Iglesia Católica de Santiago Apóstol y participó en El Grupo de Oración Carismático 'Tras las Huellas de Jesús'. Su devoción a Dios y a su comunidad brilló en su compromiso inquebrantable de ayudar a los necesitados.

Conocida por su humildad, bondad y generosidad, Zoila fue una madre amorosa que encontró su mayor alegría en su familia. Sus hijas y su esposo eran su mundo, y ella les inculcó los valores del amor, la compasión y la fe.

Zoila Govea Alejo, beloved wife and mother, left us August 29, 2024, at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, NC. Born to Felipe Govea Diego and Esperanza Alejo Ventura, Zoila was a beacon of love and kindness to all who knew her.

Zoila is survived by her devoted husband, Manuel Martinez De la Cruz, and their cherished daughters, Karen Itzel, Mayte, Alondra, and Valeria Martinez Govea. She was a beloved daughter and sister, leaving behind her siblings—Celestina, Elvia, Sandra, Noel, Armando, and Hayde Govea—who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A proud alumna of Escuela Primaria Adolfo López Mateo and Secundaria Técnica 127 De La Cantera, Zoila carried her education and values throughout her life. After moving to the United States, she dedicated nearly two decades of her life to working at McDonald's, where she formed lasting friendships and touched many lives with her warmth.

Zoila's faith was a guiding light in her life. She was an active member of St. James Catholic Church and participated in El Grupo de Oración Carismatico ‘Tras las Huellas de Jesús.’ Her devotion to God and her community shone through in her unwavering commitment to helping those in need.

Known for her humility, kindness, and generosity, Zoila was a loving mother who found her greatest joy in her family. Her daughters and her husband were her world, and she instilled in them the values of love, compassion, and faith.

As we remember Zoila, we celebrate a life that was a true testament to love and service. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. In this time of sorrow, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, embraced by God.
