He did not pursue college, but he found meaningful work and purpose through his labor and service.

In the working world, Willie contributed his talents to Waste Industries and Newton Instruments, and he also owned Tree Man Tree and Landscaping Services, where his hands, humor, and hard work left lasting impressions on everyone who knew him.
