It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Willie Robert Allen, a devoted family man and a daily inspiration to those who knew him. Willie, son of the late Maggie Allen, passed away at Maria Parham Medical Center on December 9, 2025.
Early Life
Willie was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and spent his formative years in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He proudly grew up in the Forsyth County public school system, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by shared moments, hard work, and a generous spirit.
Family
Willie was married to Mary Emma Terry Allen, and together they welcomed a loving stepdaughter, Loretta Terry, into their lives. He cherished his family deeply and found joy in everyday moments spent with loved ones.
Career
Willie dedicated many years to ST Wooten Inc., where he contributed his skills, integrity, and steady work ethic. His colleagues remember him as dependable and kind, someone who always had a story to tell and a helping hand to offer.
Faith
A faithful member of New Zion First Pentecostal Church, Willie found strength and guidance in his beliefs. His faith was a compass for his actions and a source of comfort for his family and friends.
Hobbies
Willie loved fishing, painting, and yard work, and what may be most enduring about Willie is how these simple joys reflected his approach to life: patience, creativity, and a genuine love of home and family.
