Veronica Daugherty

Veronica Anne Daughtry, beloved daughter of Peter August Sandt and Mary Lou Chappell, passed away peacefully and went home to be with her father in heaven on May 24, 2024, at Maria Paham Medical Center.

Veronica was born and raised in New London, Connecticut, where she spent her formative years filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Later in life, she made North Carolina her home, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and compassion.

Professionally, Veronica dedicated herself to helping others as a Phlebotomist at The Mayo Clinic. Her commitment to her work was evident in the care and empathy she showed to all those she encountered, making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and colleagues alike.

Veronica will be remembered for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her loved ones. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on in the lives she touched.

May she rest in peace, reunited with her father in the arms of eternal love and tranquility.
