Timothy Antwoin Wilkins

Timothy Antwoin Wilkins, beloved son of Emmett Alexander Alston and Theresa Ann Wilkins, was born on February 26, 1980, in Henderson, NC. He peacefully departed this earthly home on March 22, 2025, surrounded by the love of family at his residence.

Timothy, affectionately known as "Smoke," was a vibrant spirit whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone he met. Growing up in the Vance County School District, he formed lifelong friendships and cherished memories. As a child, he attended New Bethel Baptist Church, where his love for God was nurtured and grew.

A true lover of life, Timothy's passion for music and dance brought joy to those around him. His infectious laughter and quick wit made him a favorite in any gathering, and he had a remarkable ability to crack jokes that could light up any room. He was known for his generosity, often giving the shirt off his back to help others in need.

Timothy was a devoted family man who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His unwavering loyalty to his family and friends was unparalleled. He created his own unique family bond, affectionately calling it "Lil Mexico," reflecting his playful spirit and the close-knit community he fostered.

A passionate Dallas Cowboys fan, Timothy's spirit shone brightest when he cheered for his team. He lived a life free of violence and filled with love, demonstrating a heart of gold that embraced everyone he encountered. He never met a stranger, and his love for humanity was evident in all he did.

Timothy's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is survived by his parents, Emmitt Alston and Theresa Ann Wilkins; extended family; and countless friends who will carry his memory with them.

In honor of Timothy's vibrant spirit, let us remember to love fiercely, laugh often, and embrace each moment as he did. A celebration of his life will be held later, where friends and family can gather to share stories and reminisce about his beautiful life.
