Theresa Marrero, a vibrant and outspoken spirit, was born in Queens, NY, on September 5, 1980. She departed on November 9, 2024, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering faith.

Theresa was a beautiful young lady whose presence lit up every room she entered. Known for her quick wit and infectious humor, she had a unique ability to connect with others, making friends wherever she went. If you knew Theresa, you knew her heart was pure, always ready to offer a teasing remark, yet filled with love for those around her.

A devoted aunt to a long list of nieces and nephews, Theresa loved each of them profoundly and cherished every moment spent with family. Her best friends, Lewis Williams, Noel, Alisa, and many more, were lucky to experience her vibrant personality and the joy she brought to their lives. Theresa had a unique way of making everyone feel seen and appreciated.

Her unwavering faith in God was a guiding light throughout her life. Even when faced with challenges, including her journey into motherhood—something many doubted she could achieve—Theresa proved repeatedly that she was capable of extraordinary things. Her determination and strength inspired all who knew her.

In her final moments, Theresa expressed a heartfelt desire to be surrounded by her family and friends. Many sent prayers and support, and her family is deeply grateful for the love shown during this time.
