On the morning of Thursday, April 14, 2022, God plucked one of his special flowers. Tara Yvette Patterson peacefully departed this life after an extended illness at Duke Medical Pavilion in Durham, NC.
She was born on March 2, 1971, to the late Thomas Ray Patterson and the late Wanda Denise Patterson. She grew up in the Northern Durham Community and attended Durham City Schools. Tara went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant and later become the owner of her own VA Family Care Home caring for patients which was her passion with her late husband Lawrence Davis. Tara was a very loving and caring person with a giving heart. She had a beautiful soul and an unbelievable smile that would light up a room. She would always reach out to help and be there for others even when she wasn’t well.
