Sarah Lee Parham Allen, a strong and wonderful soul with a heart of gold, loved by many and cherished by all who knew her, entered eternal rest on December 14, 2025, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
Early Life
Sarah was born January 8, 1954, to the late George Burwell and Sallie Lee Parham Crute in Vance County, North Carolina. She grew up in the Townsville community of Vance County and remained a steadfast member of the Flat Creek Baptist Church, whose faith and fellowship shaped her throughout life.
Education and Career
She attended JF Webb High School and later Granville County High School, where she completed her schooling. Sarah pursued college studies in sewing, reflecting her creative spirit and meticulous care.
In her professional life, Sarah served the community as a Home Aid caregiver, providing compassionate healthcare services to seniors throughout the area. Her dedication, warmth, and genuine concern for others left a lasting imprint on the families she supported.
Personal Life and Interests
A devoted mother and friend, Sarah cherished her family above all else. She remained deeply rooted in her faith at Flat Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and fishing, activities that brought her joy and relaxation. She was a member of the Red Velvet Club, where she connected with others and shared in community.
Family
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Burwell and Sallie Crute Parham Crute; two brothers, Jammie Crute and John Henry Jr.; and two sisters, Arlene Crute and Crystal Jordan. She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Toris Parham and Marvin Parham, her daughters Antoinette Parham, Natasha Parham, and Jennifer Parham, her brothers Kenney Crute and John Henry, her sisters Maggie Hawley, Lavern Brown, Lisa Crute, Annette Crute, Alisha Robinson, and Dedra McNeil, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
