Samuel Terry

Samuel Terry, born to the late Robert Olin and Susie Belle Terry on October 25, 1953, peacefully departed this life to be with his heavenly father on February 5, 2024, at Maria Parham Health. Samuel's journey began in the Vance County School Systems, where he laid the foundation for a life filled with love, dedication, and cherished memories.

A dedicated farmer, Samuel nurtured the land and found solace in the bounties it provided. His work at JP Taylor Warehouse and Faulkner Building Supply showcased his strong work ethic and commitment to his community. His love for WWE Wrestling and baseball, as well as his passion for cooking, brought him joy and enriched the lives of those around him. Samuel also found fulfillment in caring for and spending time with his sister Naomi's children, creating lasting bonds and memories with his family.

Samuel was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Olin and Susie Belle Terry, as well as his brothers: Charlie M. Terry, James E. Terry, Daniel Terry, Moses Jerome Terry, and sister Bretha Terry.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Mary A. Terry, Queen E. Terry, and Naomi Mitchell (Edward). Samuel's memory will be cherished by those who knew him and held dear by his family, friends, and community.

Funeral Services to honor Samuel's life and legacy will be held at Alight Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00PM.

Samuel's laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his presence.
