Samir Lamont Stuckey, a precious little angel, departed this life on December 13, 2024, at Duke University Hospital. Born on November 24, 2022, to Brianna Trowbridge and Marcus Stuckey, Sr., Samir brought joy and love to all who knew him.
A bright spark in our lives, Samir loved watching Paw Patrol and would light up the room with his beautiful smile. He had a charming way of pointing his fingers, bringing joy and laughter to everyone around him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the memories he created will forever be cherished.
Samir was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Marcus Stuckey Jr., and his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Copeland. At just two years old, he was baptized by the Duke Chaplain, marking a significant moment in his young life.
He is survived by his loving parents, Brianna Trowbridge and Marcus (Angela) Stuckey; his brother, Ti’Quan Trowbridge; his sister, Malaysia Stuckey; and a close-knit family including his grandparents, LaToya (Willie) Ragland, Shirley Stuckey, and Phillip (Angela) Trowbridge. Samir is also cherished by his great-grandparents, Brenda Hill and Teresa Trowbridge-Ragland, his great-great-grandmother, Sadie Bennett, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended Duke Hospital family and friends, all of whom adored him.
In this time of sorrow, we invite all who knew Samir to join us in celebrating his life and the joy he brought into our world. He was truly loved by many and will be missed deeply.
