Okeyia Latravette Steed, a beloved resident of Raleigh, NC, peacefully passed away on September 24, 2023. Born and raised in Henderson, North Carolina, Okeyia later made her home in Raleigh, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Okeyia leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Zymia Steed, Tony Steed, and Khloe Steed, as well as her beloved son, Kanyon Steed, all of whom reside in Raleigh, NC. Okeyia's unconditional love and unwavering support will forever be etched in their hearts.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Jacquelyn Jeanette Steed. Okeyia's passing leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends, as her vibrant spirit and warm presence will be dearly missed.
In addition to her children, Okeyia is survived by her father Joe Williams of Concord, NC, who will fondly remember the cherished moments they shared together.
While Okeyia's physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit and the love she brought into the lives of her loved ones will continue to live on eternally. May her soul find eternal peace and comfort, and may her family and friends find solace in the cherished memories they hold dear.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Alight Funeral & Cremation Services, LLC.
Okeyia touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. As we say our final goodbyes, may we find strength in knowing that her spirit will forever be with us.
