Lois Catherine Johnston

Lois Catherine Johnson, daughter of the late Harvey Hollen and Mary Jane Sheriff, was born on April 15, 1928, in Blair County, Pennsylvania. She entered into eternal rest on January 26, 2026, at Maria Parham Health.

Earlier in life, Lois was employed as a dietitian at San Bernardino Hospital, where she contributed to the hospital’s cafeteria. Her warm presence and dedication blessed those she served.

Lois later moved to North Carolina and lived in the Kittrell Community with her daughter, Caroline Jansen. She will be remembered for her strength, grace, and the love she shared with family and friends.

She leaves behind one son, Richard Johnston, four daughters, Marlene Dunn, Katie Davidson, Marsha Johnston, and Caroline Jansen, and a circle of loved ones who will miss her dearly. A private service will be held by the family.
