Deacon Julius Edward Robinson, son of the late Walter King Robinson and Savannah Perry Robinson, was born on January 18, 1949, in Warren County. He departed his life July 2, 2023, at Wake Med Medical Center, Raleigh, NC.
Julius was reared in Warren County and attended the Warren County Public School System.
Being the only child, he grew up and loved spending time with his aunts and uncles.
Being reared in a Christian home, he found Christ at an early age.
He soon met the love of his life, Carnethia Davis. In 1966 they were united in holy matrimony. To this union three children were born.
Julius loved helping people, singing, watching game shows, and most of all, making sure that his beautiful wife, as he would say, and his car were just as sharp as he was.
Julius was gainfully employed at Revlon in Oxford, NC where he retired in 2012.
He served faithfully as Deacon and member of The River Church in Durham, NC for over 20 years.
Julius leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 56 years, Carnethia Robinson, three children, Kelvin Robinson (Shanel) of Texas, Tyrone Robinson of Colorado, and Patrice Lynch (James) of Franklinton, North Carolina, three aunts Lucy Alston (Billy) of Warrenton, NC, Marion Alston of Durham, NC, and Hazel Blunt (Larry) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, two uncles Harvey Robinson (Rose) of Franklinton, NC and James Perry of Henderson, NC, Nine grandchildren- Kimberly Robinson, Tyrone Robinson, Jr., Devante Robinson, Cody Gott, Orlesha Jefferson, Ciara Lynch, Quishaun Artis, Ramone Artis and Torin Robinson, Sister-in-Law Aurelia Elam (Jarvis) of Warrenton, NC, Brother-in-Law Norman Davis (Joan) Richmond, VA., nine great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
