It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ja’Neta Teiona Wynn, a radiant young woman whose kindness and spirit touched the lives of many. Born on November 20, 2000, to Thaddeus Durham and Joslyn Wynn, Ja’Neta departed this world peacefully on December 3, 2024, at Maria Parham Health.
Ja’Neta grew up in the heart of Vance County, where she developed a vibrant personality that mirrored the joy she brought to those around her. A proud graduate of Vance Academy in Henderson, NC, Class of 2018, she embarked on a career as a Personal Care Assistant at Alpha Magnolia Health in Warrenton, NC. In her work, Ja’Neta's heart of gold shone brightly as she dedicated herself to caring for others, embodying compassion and grace.
Her infectious laughter and playful spirit were trademarks of her character. Ja’Neta was known for her unique blend of humor—wild and goofy one moment, with a mischievous streak that could catch you off guard the next. Those who knew her cherished her unwavering authenticity; she was unapologetically herself, making her lovable.
Everyone fortunate enough to cross her path felt Ja'Neta's warmth and generosity. She had an extraordinary ability to lift the spirits of those around her and made lasting connections with friends and family. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of many.
Ja’Neta is survived by her loving parents, Thaddeus Durham and Joslyn Wynn, along with a network of family and friends who will always carry her memory with them.
Rest in peace, dear Ja’Neta. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. A QR code with the program will be provided at the church's front door in a picture frame.
