Floora Benitez Lopez was born Febuary 4, 1944 to the late Redolpho Benitez and Coienda Lopez in San Lucas, Michoacan, Mexico.

Flora departed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at 3:10AM at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, NC 27536.

Flora was Married to the late Leonardo Renteria. She was blessed with eight wonderful children, Gloria Flores, Oscar Renteria, Dayami Renteria, Marbella Renteria, Joel Renteria, Neftaly Renteria, Audy Renteria, and Elevi Renteria.

She enjoyed knitting, dancing, and spending quality time with family. Flora dedicated her life to cooking and catering to her family, her passion in life was to be there for her kids and help rise, love and support her 41 grandchildren. Her strength and kindness was admired by those who knew her

Funeral services for Flora Benitez Lopez, age 79 of Henderson, NC will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023, at 2:00PM at the address of 549 South William Street Henderson, NC 27536. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery in Henderson, NC.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5:00PM until 8:00PM. The public viewing will also be held at 549 S William St. Henderson NC 27536.
