Feebie Johnson-Alston Obituary

Feebie Anna Lynette Johnson-Alston, born February 25, 1975, in Jersey City, New Jersey, left this world on September 26, 2025, at Camellia Gardens, surrounded by the family she cherished most. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who poured love into every life she touched.

A Life of Love and Family

Feebie grew up in Jersey City before moving with her family to Henderson, North Carolina. From a young age, she cultivated a deep faith and sense of community, often finding solace and strength within the Church of Christ. She valued education and perseverance, earning her GED through Vance-Granville Community College after years of learning alongside her peers in the Vance County Public School System.

Her greatest joy was her family. Feebie’s love for her children and grandchildren was the heart beating of her life. She carried a warm, generous spirit, always ready with a kind word, a comforting hug, or a thoughtful gesture. Her devotion to those she loved remains a legacy.

Career and Hobbies

Feebie’s professional path was marked by dedication and care. She worked at Granville Plastic and Granville Correctional Institution (formerly Polk Correction), and she spent a meaningful decade serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In every role, she offered patience, compassion, and a steady presence for those who needed it most.

Among her hobbies, bingo brought her joy and a sense of community, a light that reflected her lively spirit and cheerful heart.

A Family Tied by Love

Feebie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Junior Alston; her father, Robert Lee Johnson; and four precious children: Tyiesha, Tynesha, Kenyan, and Kenya Alston. She leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience in the hearts of those who survive her son Joseph Junior Alston, Jr. her daughter Tiffany Nichelle Mitchell, her mother Annie Bell Bailey, five brothers Robert LaShawn Johnson, Micheal Abdul Johnson, Damark Johnson, Randy Johnson, and Kevin Johnson, four sisters Lecia Ann Johnson, Lolena Shamain Johnson, Nikitia Johnson, and Taranda Hawkins two grandchildren Jaharyan Rice Mitchell and Alisha Mellon, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Feebie’s family remembers her as the center of their world, someone who gave all she had and asked for nothing in return. Her memory will continue to guide and inspire them to love deeply, live gratefully, and cherish every moment together.

Feebie’s gentle presence, her unwavering love for her family, and her heartfelt faith will be missed beyond words. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her family find comfort in the blessings of the love she shared every day.
