DaShawn Dominique Rainey

Dashawn Dominique Rainey, affectionately known as “Dae Dae,” is the beloved son, brother, and friend of Jacques Dominique Rainey and Ajah Michelle Williams. He was born on March 12, 2025, at Maria Parham Health. He peacefully left this world to be with the other heavenly angels on March 12, 2025.

Dae Dae was a radiant light in the lives of all who knew him. His laughter and joyful spirit were infectious, bringing happiness to everyone around him. He had an insatiable love for adventure, often seen racing around with his favorite fire truck and immersing himself in the vibrant world of Paw Patrol, with Bluey being his absolute favorite. His boundless imagination and playful nature enriched our lives and will be deeply missed.

Dae Dae is preceded in death by his grandmother, Lisa Manning, and his great-grandmother, Avis Hendricks. He leaves a loving family, including his devoted mother, Ajah Williams, and his caring father, Jacques Rainey. He is cherished by his brother, Adrian Williams, and his sisters, Lillyona Gill and Christiona Gill. His maternal grandfather, Anthony Williams, his maternal grandmother, Lakeisha Hendricks, and his paternal grandparents, Walter Rainey and Regina, hold his memory close to their hearts. Dae Dae is also survived by his maternal uncle, Keshawn Hendricks, his great grandfather, William Hendricks, Sr., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends who adored him.

Though his time with us was far too brief, Dae Dae’s spirit will forever remain in our hearts. We invite family and friends to celebrate his life and the joy he brought to our world.
