His family also included his stepfather, Jeff Matthis, and his step-grandfather, Steve Matthis, both of whom offered Caleb ongoing love and encouragement. Uncles James King and Robert “BJ” Morrow preceded him in death; they are remembered with love.

Caleb attended the Vance County School System and, though he did not have the opportunity to graduate from high school, his journey was rich with learning, growth, and meaningful moments.
