Apostle Rosa Lillian Perry

It is with profound sorrow and unwavering faith that we announce the passing of our beloved woman of great character and deep devotion to God, Apostle Rosa Perry. She transitioned peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and service that will forever inspire all who knew her.

Apostle Rosa Perry was born on April 24, 1956, to the late John Henry Alexander and Annie Lou Alexander. She was a beacon of strength and kindness, dedicated to serving God and uplifting others. Her faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her through every challenge and blessing.

She was the devoted mother of Felisha Perry Benson, Cedric Eugene Perry, and bonus daughter Devone Richardson. Her love extended to her grandchildren—Jocelyn, Jykira, Jashanni Benson, D'vontae, Ayeshia Teasley, and Karterria Stainback Jr., whom she cherished dearly. She also shared her love and wisdom with her siblings: Robert Thomas, Bernard Alexander, and Mary Bullock. Her sisters Shirley Terry and Edna Mann preceded her in death.

Apostle Rosa Perry married twice to the late Alfred Eugene Perry, with whom she shared a joyful marriage from November 21, 1973, until his passing on August 9, 2010. She later found love again with Walter Fuller, whom she married on December 7, 2019, until his passing on April 12, 2020. Through every chapter, her faith and resilience remained steadfast.

Her spiritual journey began in 1982 under the leadership of Bishop Earnest Alston at Jesus House of Prayer, later known as United Prayer of Faith. She served faithfully as Youth Pastor, President of the Junior Angels Choir, President of the Usher Board, and President of the Pastors' Aid. In 2000, God called her to the divine purpose of pastorship, prompting her to establish the Rock of Prayer and Deliverance Holiness Church, where she led with compassion, humility, and unwavering commitment. On January 14, 2023, she was affirmed as an Apostle of the Lord's church, a testament to her faithfulness and spiritual authority.

Beyond her ministry, Apostle Rosa Perry was an entrepreneur and restaurateur, owner and operator of Soul Delicious Restaurant from 2006 to 2021. Her establishment was more than a place to eat; it was a sanctuary where souls were nourished and spirits uplifted.

Apostle Rosa Perry's life was a testament to her deep faith, steadfast character, and love for God and others. She leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and unwavering devotion that will continue to inspire future generations.
