Angel Gomez Santiago, born May 5, 1971, and called home on September 14, 2025, passed away after a life rich with dedication, love, and quiet faith. He was a son, a worker, and a steadfast pillar of his family.

Angel was born in Papantla, De Olarte, Veracruz, Mexico, to Fidel Gomez Animas and Juana Santiago. From his beginnings in the local Catholic Church in his hometown, he carried a sense of faith and community that guided him throughout his life.

Angel was a hardworking man whose hands and heart were always put to good use. He spent years with Gate Concrete and, most recently, served as a groundskeeper for Mr. Bill Bartholomew in Louisburg, NC. He took pride in his work and in making spaces better for those who enjoyed them.

He enjoyed working—whether on a job site or caring for the grounds of the places he helped. His work ethic reflected his quiet appreciation for a job well done.

Above all, Angel loved his family with a deep and unwavering devotion. His family was the center of his life, and he provided care, support, and love that will be remembered by all who knew him.
